Printmaker and bookbinder I work from a small studio in rural West Wales enjoying all the benefits of living in the countryside with reasonable access to Swansea, Cardiff and Aberystwyth. I teach bookbinding to small groups of adults, accept commissions for special books and sell my work in galleries and craft shows.

I make books and decorated boxes. Albums to hold collections of photographs, watercolour sketchbooks, journals and diaries well as books of folded paper that open out into intriguing sculptural shapes. Each book is hand stitched and bound using quality materials and contains paper suitable for a range of media. A range of binding techniques are used to create books with open spines to show the decorated pages inside, windows in the covers as well as conventional case bound sketchbooks. My covers are bound with either my own papers, designed and hand silkscreen printed or repurposed silk from Japanese kimonos. My boxes are constructed from heavyweight card, decorated with my papers and finished with soft fabric linings and shiny metal fittings. From small boxes for special gifts to towers that unfold to reveal multiple trays for jewellery or trinkets.
