Drawing and writing. Sometimes curating things and publishing as well. I worked for a long while with mould making, casting, printmaking and illustration and these things crop up occasionally still but more as occasional mediums. I trained in traditional painting, drawing and life casting techniques, then studied Fine Art.
I worked with illustration, mould making and casting for about 10 years often with film prosthetics and horror effects before moving away from 3d work in 2008, and back in to a more drawing-based practice. During this time I trained as a printmaker and had experience of editioning prints, publishing and making my own fine-art prints. Currently I am enjoying getting back to doing some drawing research and understanding the traditional skills I originally learned. i have also moved back into working on my own projects in the last few year. I have worked with further and higher education since 2011 and teach a traditional paint colour mixing course, which takes a look at a a slower and more traditional way to learn.
