    Neurodivergent visual artist exploring embodied experience through drawing, painting and mixed media. My work draws on my background as a former elite gymnast and responds to movement, sensation and mental imagery emerging through EMDR therapy. Projects include ‘ProPriOception’ (Arts Council England - DYCP) and ‘Exploring Embodied Experience’, supported by a CuratorSpace Artist Bursary.

    My work anchors me to reality, a lens of visual translation that enables me to attempt to understand human thought and behaviour at a deeper level. The unreality of day to day existence is relentless, a maze of whirring dualities and circus mirrors, through paint I tune in to the collective consciousness and become a translator for the seen but not heard.

    I am an artist and freelance curator. I hold an MA in Contemporary Curation from Norwich University of the Arts. I have been sculpting professionally since 2011.     In the last year I have returned to full time education following a decade of being a stay at home parent. Juggling artistic practices with the mundane and often seeing the world through the eyes of young children curious about the little things. I am a member of Seacourt Print Workshop and continuing on at college studying ceramics.
