Pip Woolf United Kingdom
Originally from London I studied in Bristol and now live and work in Wales. My practice unfolds at the intersection of landscape and collective memory, offering quiet ecological and institutional resistance. Rooted in drawing, yet extending into installation, film, books, and social action, the work enquires how we might live—together—within the fragile and evolving systems of our world.
Working alongside others, artists, farmers, neighbours, students, politicians, allows different worlds to inform my work. Often using found material I allow elemental forces to be embedded within conceptual frameworks, reflecting commitment to art as a relational, lived practice rather than a singular object or statement. As an artist with background in environmental education, my practice is rooted in landscape and community, using physical, emotional, political, and philosophical enquiry to explore our place on the planet.
