My practice operates at the intersection of Neo-Expressionism and Pop art, fusing raw street art aesthetics with supernatural iconography and the historic subversion of Polari slang. This multidisciplinary visual vocabulary serves a singular purpose: to document the contemporary queer narrative across its triumphs, systemic setbacks, and the friction of daily existence.

Rooted in my perspective as a white cis gay man, the work addresses a critical cultural moment where hard-won progress is actively regressing. I utilise the canvas as an arena for radical commentary, confronting societal injustices and the pervasive mental health tolls inflicted upon the LGBTQ+ community. This creative process functions as a vital mechanism for psychological processing translating profound frustration into tangible form.

Ultimately, I refuse to let our narrative stay bleak. My work proves that misery and struggle can be colorful. By channeling fury into neon defiance, I capture our history in real-time, proving that even when life is shit, our resistance is brilliantly, unapologetically alive.
