Since retirement, I work with textiles most days. I use a lot of up cycled materials and apply paint and stitch to tell a story. I also volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind, Scotland. We foster lovely pups, giving them a cosy home as they go through their training.

I create art by manipulating fabrics and use hand and machine stitches to explore line, shape and texture. I work intuitively allowing the stitches and print applications to flow freely and dictate the next steps. I take my inspiration from land and seascapes and nature. I also create artwork with a radical feminist theme.
