  Back to profiles

I work with site-responsive installation, photography and video using light, space and wind and am inspired by the ordinary, the everyday and the need to find meaning in our lives. I studied at Kingston University and the Royal Academy, London and have exhibited throughout the UK and abroad including Spain, Germany, Iceland, Korea and USA.

I am an East Midlands artist working with temporary site responsive installation, photography and video. My work explores light, space, place and meaning and engages with themes reflecting ecology, spirituality and the metaphysical, often appearing as energy fields unexpectedly made visible. I work onsite, developing ideas as the work progresses, opening an intimacy with the place, the site, the light and materials. I am inspired by the everyday, the basics that are also the fundamentals of life which can open doors to surprising aspects of our lives, our humanity.
