  Back to profiles

Mick Smith is a partially sighted, working class artist based in Newcastle upon Tyne. His work includes large-scale industrial projects and he is available to take on commissions of most subjects.

Mick is a professional artist with over 20 years of experience both as an oil painter and sculptor. Lately he has developed an interest in the Industrial Heritage of Tyneside and North East England. Explorations in this subject have led to a collection of machine based paintings and sculpture some of which were exhibited in The Biscuit Factory as part of his Art Council Funded "New Teeth For The Old Cog" project.
