I'm a visual artist working with traditional and contemporary photographic methodologies and I explore the intersection of photography and art using both analogue and digital technologies. Recurring themes in my work relate to the photographic index, visual truth, materiality, memory, experience and loss.

I graduated with Distinction from the University of Brighton Master’s degree programme in February 2023. My final MA project was titled The Six Ages of E Boydell which I continued to build and develop after the course and exhibited this body of work during the bi-annual Brighton Photo Fringe festival in October 2024.

Having recently undertaken this intense period of learning I now find myself creatively re-invigorated and have been examining what my creative practice looks like, the core photographic values that I hold and the subjects that I desire to explore and make work about. What I have discovered is that I remain conflicted about a great number of things. It is from this conflict, uncertainty and place of inquiry that my practice has arisen.

I remain an educator both formally and informally because I love learning and hope that I can in a small way pass on the excitement I feel about being creative and exploring the potential of the photographic medium.
