Willie Robb East Sussex, United Kingdom
I am a photographer, video producer and artist who was born and raised near Perth in Scotland and is now based in Lewes, South East England. I graduated from Brighton University in 2008 with a BA(Hons) in Photography and continue to create self-initiated projects using a blend of autobiographical and documentary practice.
My work is always led by personal experience and current affairs. Often referencing present socio-political concerns in the UK, I use a variety of photographic styles and approaches to consider the physical impact of dogmatic, political ideology. Although there may not always be aesthetic parallels in my work every project is connected by an overriding urge to contemplate and question huge political measures and their influence. The effects of Government-led strategies such as economic austerity, Brexit and the various referendums that have happened in the last five years form the core of my practice.

Blind Veterans Photography Workshop
I was invited to host a studio and landscape photography workshop at the Blind Veterans UK Brighton branch in Ovingdean.
