"Alma + Margo" is a stylish multi-purpose salon at the heart of Old Street, London. Our vision brings together everything we love in life under one roof: a hair studio, a yoga haven, music workshops, and a vibrant space for art!

This July, we're inviting artists to be part of our first exhibition in our creative space. We don't have a specific theme - instead, we want to showcase pieces from artists who express their strong individual vision in their work.

Submission Details

• Open to all mediums: painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media (except video and installation)
• Curation: Selected artworks will be curated by the Alma + Margo team
• Exhibition dates: Open to the public over two weekends in July (5-6 July and 12-13 July)
• Opening reception: Friday, 4th July from 18:00-21:00
• Submission fee: £15 per artist (flat fee regardless of number of submissions)
• Submission limit: Up to 3 artworks per artist
• Submission deadline: Sunday 15th June
• Selection result: will be communicated individually to each applicant by Sunday, 22nd June via the email address you provided
• Delivery of artwork:  Friday 27 June, between 10 am - 1 pm. Saturday 28 June, between 12 pm - 3 pm
• Collection of artwork:  Friday 18 July, between 10 am - 1 pm.  Saturday 19 July,  between 12 pm - 3 pm
  
  

Important Information

• If selected, all artwork must be delivered within the designated time window
• Each artist is responsible for insuring their own works
• No commission will be taken on sales - artists will deal directly with buyers
• For security reasons, please provide names of any guests you'd like to invite to the opening night
• A member of our team will be on-site to oversee the exhibition at all times
