City: Ipswich  |  Region: Suffolk  |  Country: United Kingdom  |  Willem Keys

Report this?

AMPP is launching a brand-new gallery, and we're inviting you to be part of its inaugural wave. We’re calling on artists, makers, coders, dancers, printheads, punks, performers and people with something to say.

If you’ve got an idea that connects to AMPP, we want to see it.

The only guideline? Your work should resonate with the AMPP ethos: Art Makes People Powerful

Digital, physical, in-between or off-the-wall — we’re open. This is a space for expression, experimentation, and energy.

AMPP STUDIO is built for everyone. So bring your perspective.

Make something. Say something. Show up.

AMPP is launching a new gallery space in Ipswich and we’re looking for bold, original proposals from artists, makers, performers, and creatives of all kinds to help shape its inaugural programme.

This open call is your chance to exhibit, perform, or test an idea in a space built for experimentation, energy, and expression.

We welcome work across all disciplines — whether digital, physical, live, interactive, or something entirely in-between — as long as it connects with the AMPP ethos: Art Makes People Powerful.

There are no fixed themes or formats, and no prior exhibition experience is required.

We’re especially keen to hear from emerging voices, underrepresented communities, and those pushing the boundaries of what art can be.

Fees:

It is free to apply to and participate in the opportunity.

Benefits:

Selected proposals will be supported with space, promotion, and guidance from the AMPP team, with opportunities to engage with local audiences and other creatives.

Whether you’re developing a new project or sharing existing work, this is a chance to be part of a vibrant and growing community in Ipswich.

Artists can expect to gain significant exposure as a result of footfall in the gallery and during associated promotional events (private view, hosting live art demonstrations etc.)

The Private view, should you attend, will be a valuable chance to network and gain access to a space within the Ipswich artistic scene.

All works, including yours, will be available for sale (but please note that the gallery will take 20% commission on any sold work).

There may also be some associated press that we can provide, for example, we film and promote an artist's profile through social media.
