Last year we hosted the first artatthehouse event at Cliffe House, a beautiful Victorian manor house with 11 acres of grounds and woodland in Shepley, West Yorkshire. The aim was to provide a new opportunity for artists to showcase their work and provide workshops or demonstrations for visitors. The event is free-entry and attracted over 500 attendees over the weekend.

For artatthehouse 2019, we would like to increase the number and range of artists/designers/makers, but also to broaden participants to include street artists, sound and or video installation artists, musicians, singers and circus skills. Exhibitions, workshops and installations will be located in the Coach House, the Lodge and amongst the trees in the woods.

For exhibitors wishing to sell their work there is a fee of £50 (an additional fee will apply if exhibition boards are required).

Artists running workshops or demonstrations can charge a fee at their own discretion (a commission of 10% will apply) and there is a facility for visitors to pre-book through the artatthehouse.co.uk website.

There is no charge for non-selling participants or performers.

Anyone interested should submit a short description on the submission form, with information such as ideal trading, workshop or performance times during the weekend, contact details and availability and technical requirements for consideration.
