ARTISTS OF THE SEASON OPEN CALL - AUTUMN 2026

Three artists. Three months. One season dedicated entirely to your work.

ART from HEART CIC invites multimedia artists from anywhere in the world to apply for Artists of the Season — our ongoing open call designed to support and elevate your practice, not just showcase it.

We're looking for work that engages with environmental or social themes in any medium, from any perspective. If your practice responds to the world you live in, we want to hear from you.

WHAT BEING AN ARTIST OF THE SEASON MEANS

• Website Feature: Your work on our homepage and blog, in front of an audience of curators and collectors actively seeking socially engaged and environmentally conscious art.
  
  
• Social Media Promotion: 3 bespoke posts across our Instagram (2,292 followers) and Facebook (2,173 followers) communities, 2 group features, and Stories crafted around your practice.
  
  
• Newsletter Spotlight: Featured in our email newsletter, sent directly to over 2,000 engaged subscribers from across the art and creative industries.
  
  
• Online Shop Listing: Your artworks are listed in our curated shop, giving you a direct route to buyers and collectors.
  
  
• A Living Legacy: Your entry fee contributes to reforestation in the Amazon Rainforest. We've planted 435 trees together — and counting.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Any medium. Any country. Artists at any stage of their career whose work is rooted in creativity, originality, and a genuine engagement with the environmental or social world around them. We're drawn to diversity of vision — there is no single AfH aesthetic.

Through this open call alone, we have already featured 152 artists from 40 countries. We are proud of the global community this programme has built — and we're just getting started.

(A note on the name: Artists of the Season refers to our programme cycle, not your subject matter. Work across all themes and approaches is welcome.)

Fee: £12 for up to 5 artworks

Commission: We add 25% to your selling price, so you receive exactly what your work is worth.

ART from HEART CIC is a London-based, women-led, award-winning arts organisation, co-founded by artists Judit Prieto and Beatriz Perez.

Since 2019, we have produced large-scale multidisciplinary exhibitions and events that champion socio-cultural causes through the transformative power of Artivism — and we are the proud creators of the ECOFeminism Festival and ECOFeminism Short Film Festival.
