We are a retreat centre based in the Lake District and we are looking for arts, crafts, poetry and writing tutors to hold 3-5 day retreat courses.

We are open to all kinds of arts and crafts as well as poetry and writing and can take up to a maximum of 25 people.

The workshops should take place at Rydal Hall, in our communal hire rooms or barn.

The garden and woodland can also be used, or you might like to venture out beyond our borders.

Workshops should be conducted from approximately 10 am to 4 pm.

Please note that we are an inclusive Christian retreat centre and whilst we will consider all proposals and welcome everyone of all or no religious belief, courses should not be in conflict with the faith.

If you would like to submit a proposal, please include the following:

A description of the course, along with your min/max number of participants.

A total fee you would like to receive for the course.

This should include materials and planning costs.

Materials should be provided by the tutor for all participants.

Tutors will be provided with accommodation for the duration of the retreat.

At the mome,nt we are only looking for workshops that will last 2-3 days or longer.
