Who is eligible for this opportunity?
This opportunity is open to all international visual artists, photographers, illustrators, and contemporary creators. There are no geographical or age restrictions, and we welcome submissions from artists at any stage of their career (emerging, mid-career, or established).
When is the deadline?
The submission deadline is the exact date and time specified in the main details section of this listing. Please ensure you submit all materials through CuratorSpace before the countdown ends, as late entries cannot be processed.
How many works can I submit?
You can submit up to 3 high-quality images of your work using the built-in CuratorSpace submission form. Please ensure the files are in JPG, GIF, or PNG format and do not exceed 4MB each.
When is the delivery date?
As ARTZOGRA is a digital and print publication, there is no physical delivery of artwork. If your submission is selected, you will be notified via email, and the deadline to provide any high-resolution digital files (300 DPI, CMYK/RGB) or final text corrections will be communicated to you at that time, usually within 7 to 10 days after the selection announcement.
When do I need to collect my work?
There is no physical artwork collection required. Since ARTZOGRA is a magazine publication, all submissions and selections are handled digitally. Your physical artworks remain safely with you at all times.
How much does it cost?
It is 100% FREE. There are absolutely no submission fees, no entry fees, and no hidden charges to participate or to be published. ARTZOGRA is fully committed to a fee-free model for creators.
Are there payments to artists?
ARTZOGRA operates as a self-funded, independent contemporary publication. At this stage, we do not offer cash stipends or licensing fees to participating creators. Instead, all revenue from sales is directly reinvested into the high costs of editorial production, professional layout design, marketing campaigns, and global commercial distribution. Selected artists receive a dedicated feature in a commercially distributed art magazine, international exposure across our networks, and permanent promotional credits to support their career growth, completely free of any submission or entry fees.
Is there a private view / opening?
As ARTZOGRA is an independent printed and digital art magazine, there is no physical gallery opening or private view event. Instead, we host a global digital launch across all our official media channels and networks to mark the release of each new volume.
What are the exhibition opening hours?
There are no physical opening hours. As a digital and print publication distributed globally via marketplaces, ARTZOGRA is accessible to readers and audiences worldwide 24/7.
Does the location have disabled access?
Not applicable. ARTZOGRA is an independent printed and digital publication distributed globally, so there is no physical exhibition space or venue to visit.
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
Selected artists will receive a dedicated multi-page layout featuring their artwork, biography, and artist statement in ARTZOGRA Magazine. Additionally, your feature will be promoted across our official social channels and distributed through global retail platforms.
Do I need to be present?
No, physical presence is not required. ARTZOGRA is an independent print and digital publication. The entire curatorial review, selection, and layout process is conducted digitally, allowing international artists to participate from anywhere in the world.
Where will my venue be listed?
There is no physical venue to be listed. Instead, your artist feature, portfolio images, and professional links will be officially published inside the pages of ARTZOGRA Magazine, which is commercially distributed worldwide in both digital and print formats.
How do you decide on proposals?
Submissions are thoroughly reviewed and evaluated by the ARTZOGRA editorial board and curatorial team. We make our decisions based on several criteria, including visual and conceptual impact, artistic quality, technical execution, and how well the artwork aligns with the contemporary narratives and themes explored in each specific volume. Every portfolio is judged solely on its own artistic merit.
What happens if my proposal is chosen?
If your submission is selected by our editorial team, you will receive an official notification directly through CuratorSpace, followed by a confirmation email from us. We will then coordinate the delivery of high-resolution files for printing, review your final text credits, and keep you fully updated regarding the layout process and the official release date of the magazine.
What kind of proposals are you looking for?
Our selection criteria are strictly aligned with our current editorial focus. We evaluate portfolios based on technical execution, visual impact, and conceptual depth. We are actively looking for visual projects that explore substantial narratives, human experiences, and contemporary issues. Submissions must connect with one or more of our key areas: Documentary & Ethnographic Photography; Identity, Memory, and Personal Narratives; Feminist Perspectives and Social Justice; Socially Engaged Practices & Contemporary Installation Documentation; or Abstract, Figurative, and Experimental Visual Arts.
What are the selection criteria?
The selection criteria are based on three fundamental pillars: technical execution, visual impact, and narrative or conceptual depth. Our editorial team looks for professional-grade images and portfolios that demonstrate a clear artistic identity and a strong engagement with the themes of our publication. All entries are evaluated purely on their artistic merit, quality, and suitability for the layout design of this volume.
