The English Art Co. hosts Art Roundhay Park and is now permanently based at The Mansion Conservatory within the beautiful surroundings of Roundhay Park, Leeds. We showcase new works by artists David Lyon Art, Samantha Ward Art, Ryoko Minamitani and other local and regional artists and producers.

We’re now planning our next show and are seeking new artists to join us.

We showcase new works by artists David Lyon Art, Samantha Ward Art, Ryoko Minamitani and other local and regional artists and printmakers.

We're looking for a cross-section of work that is created and produced in Leeds, Yorkshire and the north of England; original art, prints and ceramics by artists and printmakers.

We're also looking for designer-makers, for gifts that are unique and that represent their art.

Art Roundhay Park is now permanently based at The Mansion Conservatory within the beautiful surroundings of Roundhay Park, Leeds.

Exhibition + Gallery Shop: 10am - 5pm daily (4pm from 31.10.21)

* Nature, floral, wildlife, landscape, landmarks,

* Floral and natural - woods, floral, rivers, lakes...

* Roundhay Park – it's landmarks and architecture - Waterloo Lake, Upper Lake, Barran's Fountain, bandstand, The Mansion

* Wildlife – swans, deer, herons, ducks, birds...

* Landmarks/local interest in Leeds

* Landmarks/local interest in Yorkshire

One panel per artist

* Panel size: 1981 high x 838 wide x 35mm deep

* Two pieces on one panel (max)

Deadlines:

• Artist submission: 1.10.21
• Artist notified: 5.10.21
• Artist delivery: 12.10.21
• Exhibition Opening: 16.10.21
• Exhibition Closing: 31.12.21

Artists - Charges (+vat), sale or return basis

Option 1

Commission: 35% (+vat) plus one day’s cover a month

Option 2

Commission: 45% (+vat), no shift

Artists have the option to do a full day’s shift per panel(s) per month and can also apply to do additional paid cover.

Producers + Browser - Charges (+vat), sale or return basis

35% commission (+ vat)

Artists/Producer Shift

10am - 5pm one day a month (4pm from 31.10.21)

Submission

At least 3 pieces, to include title, medium, RRP and size

Delivery

All artists are responsible for shipping their work to and from the gallery, insuring their work whilst in transit.

Please confirm when:

In person to: The Mansion Conservatory, Roundhay Park, Mansion Lane, Leeds, LS8 2HH between 10am – 5pm (please pre-book)

By courier to: 8 Roman Avenue, Leeds LS8 2AN.

Delivery requirements

All items/works of art to be supplied framed, with D-rings, strung and ready to hang, labelled and packaged up securely and supplied with consignment note.

Website Pricing

Please note! We appreciate you need to cover your costs and our charges but all pieces exhibited at Art Roundhay Park must retail at the same prices as available on your website and other retailers. If you want to be different, don’t sell the same work on your website or let us have an exclusive range of art or prints.

Insurance

We're not covered by contents insurance but are for public liability. Everything will be manned during the period, and we will do our upmost to take care of your art/product.

Producers: merchandising requirements

Please supply merchandising for your own products or props and guidelines as to how to display your product. Good display always sells.

Images

Please supply high resolution images of your work – as jpegs, at least 350 dpi with a maximum file size of 2MB. These images should be labelled with your name and title of the piece (abbreviated). This plays a strong part in SEO. Please bear in mind that the quality of these images will play a strong role in the marketing of your work.

Photography and permissions

All images supplied by participating artists will be used for marketing, on our website, for social media and marketing materials, unless otherwise advised.
