Bald Moon Magazine is an international bi-annual online arts and literature magazine based in Canada.

Bald Moon Magazine is currently seeking submissions for our 2nd issue due to come out in December 2017. Send us your photography, visual art, film stills, photo essays, essays, poetry, prose, vignettes, and short stories. Bald Moon’s mission is to give young writers and marginalized creatives a platform to publish. Bald Moon strives to increase accessibility to the work by remaining online by donation.

Everyone is eligible, but Bald Moon favours young, marginalized creatives by giving them an opportunity to publish.
When is the deadline?
December 1st, 2017.
How many works can I submit?
As many as you like.
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?

How do you decide on proposals?
It is important that the submission fit our aesthetic. We favour film photography, beat literature, blurred lines, evening hours..
What happens if my proposal is chosen?
You will be published in our December issue. We will notify you when it comes out.
What kind of proposals are you looking for?
Writing submissions can be in any format and genre, but writing consistent with the beat ethos is favoured. We are fans of film photography and all things visceral and unfamiliar. Please take a look through our current issue before submitting.
