The Open Gallery is looking for contemporary Brazilian art made by Brazilian Artists based in the UK. There is no restrictions on themes and formats – we welcome paintings, sculptures, mixed media, performances, installations, videos, photography etc. – as long as the applicants are able to deliver as specified in their submission.

Artists are invited to produce and submit original work for the group exhibition Brazilian Art in October 2023. We will accept artwork from any Brazilian artist who lives/works in the UK and will be able to deliver and pick up their artwork to/from the Brazilian Embassy.

Any two-dimensional and 3D artwork can be submitted through curatorspace.com, the work can be in any media: painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media etc.

To Apply:

  •    Free to apply.
  •    Provide a short description  of your work (100 words maximum). It will be published in the art catalogue.
  •    Price (if you would like to sell it), if your work is not for sale, please state NFS.
  •     Size measurements, if work is framed then the size of the frame in cms.
  •     Up to 10 images.

 

The work can be offered for sale during the exhibition, there will be a commission charge of 20% of the sale price of each piece of art, to cover the admin costs.

If accepted, your work will be exhibited in Sala Brasil at the Brazilian Embassy in London, on the Open Gallery's website, social media channels and will be published in the art catalogue.

By taking part in the Exhibition you agree that your images can be used for any publicity material (social media and/or printed matter like flyers or posters, etc).
