Hire our small but big-punching art gallery, situated close to Wood Green tube station in Haringey, north London.

We're thrilled to offer our small but mighty gallery space for hire by artists for solo or group exhibitions. Key information about our gallery space:

  • 8.1 x 2.5 metres of wall-space for use by hirers

  • Prominent location within this hugely popular community hub - surrounded by independent makers, artists, small retailers and more

  • Excellent fully-glazed frontage, prominently visible from Station Road and located very close to Wood Green tube station (Piccadilly line)

  • LED track lighting throughout

  • UV vinyl protective glass to protect artworks on display within frontage

  • Eaves height of 4+ metres

  • On-site bar to cater for private views, launch, closure and other ancillary exhibitions events

  • Use of the popular yard area to hold talks, workshops or potentially install public art (subject to consents)

  • Available to hire for a minimum of one week, and to a maximum of three weeks

  • Available for solo shows or groups

How much?

The hire fee for the gallery is £290 for the first week, and £160 per week thereafter (to a maximum of three weeks). A commission of 10% is payable on all sales during the hire period, and we provide a payment system for hirers to use.

Because Blue House Yard is a "meanwhile use" scheme with affordable rents, we are able to pass that benefit onto hirers of the space and offer highly competitive rates.

Along with hire of the space itself, we will support artists and partners as much as we can, including:

  • Supply of staff to assist with invigilation (if required, and subject to £11.05 per hour Real Living Wage payment to staff by hirers)

  • Marketing support will include listing exhibitions on EventBrite, CuratorSpace and ArtRabbit, unless hirer requests otherwise

  • Social media marketing support, including but not limited to:

    • Account takeover of Citizens Art London instagram account

    • Dedicated instagram posts before, during and following your exhibition
