We are looking for exceptional designer makers, artists and craftspeople to exhibit and sell their own work at this prestigious annual event at this popular arts venue in a busy town centre on 29th Nov, 30th Nov & 1st Dec 2019

Friday 29th November: 5.30pm - 8.30pm 

Saturday 30th November: 10am - 5.00pm

Sunday 1st December: 12 noon - 5.00pm

Once again Kendal hosts the prestigious Craft Market Kendal at the Brewery Arts Centre. This annual showcase represents everything outstanding about art, craft & design from this area and provides the opportunity to buy high quality gifts for that special person. Our exhibitors are all hand-picked for their levels of excellence in their own particular medium or craft.We provide 4 different size spaces including some screened for wall based artists. Set up from 11am on Friday 29th.

What we are offering:

  • A well established popular venue in a  busy town centre
  • 18 x exhibition areas + chairs - 5’ x 8’ approx: £150  [Malt Room]
  • 6 x Larger spaces to include extra 4 foot table approx.[ L shape]: £170 [Malt Room]
  • 6 x screened spaces for wall based artists
    [ this includes a 7’ x 8’ approx space including  4/5 30" x 6' screens
    4 screens -£180
    5 screens-£200  
    2 of these are suitable to share
  • Marketing, promotion and advertising in local newspapers and Cumbria and Lancashire Life and Craft Magazine + Brewery Arts brochure etc
  • An attractive, illustrated brochure listing all participating exhibitors, contact details and websites
  • Refreshments available to purchase all day at the Brewery cafe, restaurant and bar
  • Open evening on the Friday to which we will be inviting buyers and gallery owners from South Lakes  and surrounding areas


Terms and Conditions

  • If you are successful in your application we will let you know by the end of April.
  • Once selected full payment by the end of May.
  • Stall set up by 5 pm on the Friday; must not be dismantled until 5.00pm on the Sunday
  • We expect a professional standard of presentation and display in keeping with this festive event.
  • Stall holders must have their own public liability insurance cover in place; we may need to see a copy of your certificate.
  • Any electrical equipment must be PAT tested.
  • Your booking will not be considered secure until your fully completed booking has been received By Post and payment by bank transfer.
  • Let us know of any special requirements you may have eg. Mobility problems.
  • We are unable to offer refunds on participants withdrawing from the event.
  • All rubbish must be cleared and taken away from your stalls after the event closes.
  • All gangways and thoroughfares must be kept clear around your stall during the fair from any tripping hazards and you must not impinge upon other stall holders designated areas.
  • We endeavour to place exhibitors in spaces requested ie. with wall, but sometimes this is impossible please respect the organisers decision in placing them, and their decision is final.
  • We endeavour to have tables and electrics in place.
  • We reserve the right to refuse anyone a stall at future events if they do not comply with these terms and conditions.

Who is eligible for this opportunity?
Any artist, maker will be considered who meet the following criteria:
ORIGINALITY,CREATIVITY,EXCELLENT USE OF MATERIALS, STRONG TECHNICAL SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL LEVEL OF PRESENTATION .
