*CURATOR // UN-PAID ROLE*

We're looking for an under 30s experimental curator whose research explores coastal communities stories and/or environmentalism and/or ecologies and identities.

The ideal candidate must have informal curatorial experience that highlights their commitment to their practice and drive for professional growth.

The role is remote with regular weekly team meetings and is part-time (5-10 hours per week, depending on workload).

We believe that experience must be built somewhere: we offer early-careers the opportunity to work on a curatorial project where the person will have the space to test ideas, explore their curatorial practice, and research contemporary art discussions.

Besides joining an ambitious, grass-roots collective of like-minded people, applicants will develop key experience in the curatorial sector, gain valuable skills, and deepen thier own curatorial practice.

WHAT WE'RE DOING:

We're securing our first pop-museum in a popular location in Kent, themes gravitate around coastal communities, environmental activism, and identites.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Long term exhibtion programming // Create residencies opportunities // Open calls and artists recruitment // Research //  Writing interpretative texts // Shape the museum creative direction.

Please to apply send a short, provisional two years exhibition programme outlining your plans and ideas for our pop-up museum.

WE DON'T WANT YOU TO WASTE YOUR TIME, so please keep it short (max 1 page), and show us: What ideas would you bring to life?
