Opportunity to contribute to the development of a small arts space in Brighton.

I lease a small, unique, multi-use space 2 minutes from Brighton Station. It has functioned as a projection/cinema space, a workshop/office and artist studio and a gallery/installation space / participating in larger festival events and networked art shows.

I am an experienced arts practitioner, with varied experience ranging from performance/Live art to digital media, Public Art commissioning and consultancy and many other collaborative projects.  I am looking for an early or mid career creative practitioner who can see the potential of contributing some time, energy/skills to develop the space in exchange for use of a desk space and agreed allotted use of the gallery space. In the past it has been used both as a studio/office and a project space/ small cinema and installation. It is not a large space but it has a small dust free office (IT) a slightly larger office/workshop and at the centre a larger Project/gallery space.

If only rental of desk space is required costs are negotiable as required. Normally rent is approx £35 per week plus electric charges.  There also will be an agreement of electricity usage if any high usage is made in winter.

Please contact me if you are interested. It would be helpful if you could tell me a little bit about yourself and current work.
