Doors, Railings & Floors is a creative opportunity to promote well-being and divert people from potential problems in these anxious times. Artists are invited to showcase their creativity by submitting their best artwork featuring doors, railings, and floors.

By taking the time to notice the details and beauty in our surroundings, we can reduce stress and increase mindfulness, leading to a greater sense of well-being.

The opportunity offers three prizes, likely to be vouchers, which will be awarded based on public interaction, liking, tagging genuinely interested people, and following the page's outfaced features.

The challenge has three categories:

·      People's Choice: Based on a tool for 'business' (Insights), this category will consider the time of day that a post is made to balance quieter times.

·      Account Editors Favourite Piece: This category is a bonus and offers an opportunity to showcase the best artwork that catches the editors' attention.

·      Partner: Artists will be allocated a partner, and they can interact with each other's images, liking and commenting on them. There will only be a maximum of two partners per artist.

To participate, artists are required to follow the Instagram page, and like their own images. Artists are encouraged to minimize their questions and not to over-communicate as this may diminish the time needed to think about raising the 'purse.'

Taking part offers a unique opportunity for artists to showcase their creative abilities, interact with other artists, and receive recognition for their work.

Furthermore, it provides an opportunity to build real-life contacts and establish a strong network of creatives. So, show us your doors, railings, and floors, and let's celebrate creativity!

Who is eligible for this opportunity?
All artists can participate, regardless of their usual form of art. They can submit artwork that also ventures outside their normal work, as long as it features doors, railings, and floors.
How many works can I submit?
Two
When is the delivery date?
It’s an Instagram Account that’s fed through to Facebook and then to Twitter, but you can start sending submissions straight away. Thanks.
How much does it cost?
There is no cost to submit your work. It is free to enter.
Are there payments to artists?
There is no payment to artists, however, there will be prizes in the form of vouchers awarded to the winners of the three categories: "Most interactive with Page's 'outfaced' features," "People's Choice," and "Page Editor's Favourite piece." However, the prizes are more of a token gesture than a form of payment.
Is there a private view / opening?
It’s not envisioned at this moment, but hey, that’s not to say it can’t.
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
At this moment, there’s not the ability to push promote, but hopefully there will be, but if there’s a decent response, we could look to creating some paper flyers, but there’d need to be a ‘group pull’ for this to come about.
Do I need to be present?
You need to be liking the account @artyesart and it’s not really a stipulation for much else, but now even huge accounts are getting one and two likes. At the end of the day, you can put it on your CV, screenshot it. Use it as a motivational tool.
