Call for Artists: Entangled Geographies: Displacement, Belonging, and the Spaces In Between – An Online Visual Art Exhibition
Submission Deadline: 18 August
Exhibition Dates: 1-29 September 2025
CISTA ARTS invites submissions for its upcoming online group exhibition titled Entangled Geographies: Displacement, Belonging, and the Spaces In Between, which will be hosted from 1 to 29 September 2025.
This exhibition explores how artists respond to the complexities of place, identity, and memory in a world shaped by migration, exile, climate change, and shifting borders.
We welcome works that reflect on personal or collective journeys, the tension between rootedness and dislocation, and the reimagination of ‘home’ in transcultural and transitional contexts.
We are particularly interested in perspectives that challenge fixed notions of geography, drawing attention to the emotional, political, and psychological landscapes shaped by belonging and displacement.
This open call is for visual artists working in all media, especially those whose practices intersect with social commentary, memory, and spatial narratives.
Submission Details:
• Open to all mediums: painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, and mixed media.
• Collaborative works and multi-disciplinary pieces are welcome.
