How do you decide on proposals?
Work is chosen on its quality and its fitting the theme, remember the exhibition is about found photography, salvaged images and materials. Think negatives, slides, old projectors and ancient photographs. Most of my work has been found in the street, some slides found in old projectors that i salvaged from various places, slides that were going to be thrown away and have been rescued, as long as the materials and work are found, salvaged and analogue. If you're not sure just send me a message and ask.
What kind of proposals are you looking for?
surprise me! Creative reimaginings, we want to see innovative things being done with found photography, for example I have a sound art piece done by recording and remixing some slide projectors, a film piece done with salvaged 16mm film stock that has been worked on, there could be a written piece about a scrap of film you found, writing is welcome, film, projection and also let's see some great old photos you found, some polaroids, all of it.
