Bravo Studios is inviting applications from Yorkshire-based artists and makers to take part in our FEVA Open Studios & Art Market weekend in Knaresborough.
While the event primarily aims to showcase creative practitioners from Knaresborough and the surrounding area, we welcome applications from further afield whose work aligns with the spirit of the event.
Held as part of the wider FEVA festival programme, this two-day event combines open working studios from our resident artists with a curated indoor art market featuring invited guest artists and makers.
We are looking for a small selection of high-quality contemporary artists, craftspeople, designers and makers whose work complements the atmosphere of our studio community.
Applications are encouraged from both emerging and established practitioners working across disciplines, including:
- Printmaking
- Painting
- Ceramics
- Illustration
- Fibre Art
- Jewellery
- Book arts
- Mixed media
- Sculpture
- Contemporary craft
Event Details
Dates: Saturday 15 & Sunday 16 August 2026
Opening Times: 10 am – 4 pm both days
Venue: Hexagon House, Grimbald Crag Close, Knaresborough, HG5 8PJ
Selected artists will receive:
- 8ft x 4ft exhibiting space - suitable for 1 x 6ft table plus browser/display
- Table provided on request (please specify)
- Free parking
- Shared promotion through FEVA and Bravo Studios channels
- Opportunity to exhibit alongside 7 resident studio artists
- Access to tea/coffee facilities
- Artists must provide their own display equipment, coverings, signage and card payment facilities
- Artists and makers must have valid Public Liability Insurance to participate in this event
Setup & Breakdown
- Set up access from 8 am on Saturday, 15 August
- Breakdown between 4 pm and 5 pm on Sunday, 16 August
Cost
- A participation fee of £15 is payable on acceptance of your application. No commission is payable on sales
Accessibility & Venue Notes
The event takes place indoors. The building has level access to the main entrance, stairs and lift access to the studio floor, which occupies the entire first floor. Parking is available directly outside the building.

- 4–6 images of your work (will be used for marketing if selected)
- A short artist statement of approx 100 words (will be used for marketing if selected)
- Links to website/social media (if applicable)
- Brief description of what you intend to exhibit
- Location - please state where in Yorkshire you are based
- We are aiming for a balanced and varied mix of practices across the market
