We are seeking paintings, drawings, original prints, mixed media and photography on the subject of any part of the life cycle of food and drink, made by UK and international artists age 18 and over. No digital prints or AI generated images.

Exhibition: May 26th - June 15th 2026

Selected entries will be exhibited for sale in our Gallery centrally located in Primrose Hill, London for three weeks, and on our website for the following three months.  

Please submit as early as possible, particularly if you are sending your work from abroad.  

We can't wait to see your work and to introduce it to our customers and promote it online and in print.  

We aim to attract not just our regulars but also visitors to popular events and the parks nearby, and will have extended opening hours for  London Galleries Weekend.  

We are planning workshops and events during the exhibition, if you'd like to propose a workshop or event please let us know.  

We would like most of the works in this show to be priced under £2,500, unless by exception agreed with curators. and a maximum framed size of 100cm x 100cm.  

Most works selected will be A3 or  smaller.

We are a friendly, happy, creative space valued by artists and the local art loving community alike.

The gallery opened in April 2025 in  former restaurant premises in Primrose Hill, NW1

The space is run by  Sophie Levi, a professional landscape and portrait painter, art organiser, curator and teacher who exhibits widely and has been shortlisted for the BP Portrait Award and Threadneedle Art Prize, amongst others.  

She will be co-curating this show with Jo Trench, artist & printmaker and art teacher. 

After submitting your first artwork, you will then be directed to make a payment. Select the amount for the number of submissions you would like to make.

If this is more than one, you will then be able to make further submissions by submitting additional forms up to the number of artworks you have paid for.

The appropriate fee will be payable using a debit or credit card after the first submission has been completed. If the submission fee allows you to submit more than once, you will be able to make further submissions after the first. Who is eligible for this opportunity?
International Artists age 18 or over.
Paintings, drawings, original prints (not digital, not AI), photography, mixed media. Maximum size 100cm x 100cm,
Maximum price £2,500, except by agreement with the gallery.
The theme is all aspects of the life cycle of food and drink, from field to table.
When is the deadline?
Wednesday 6th May, but please try to enter well before, specially if you are going to be sending work from abroad. Artist's will be notified as soon as possible to allow maximum time, but all will be notified of selection after deadline.
How many works can I submit?
Up to 6. Please complete a separate form for each artwork.
When is the delivery date?
Friday 22nd May 9 am - 5 pm
Artists must make their own delivery arrangements and pay all delivery costs.
The gallery will refuse delivery of works with outstanding delivery or customs charges.
When do I need to collect my work?
16th June 9am - 4pm. Artworks must remain in the exhibition until 15th June.
Artist must arrange and pay for collection of their works if they can't collect personally, on 29th June if unsold.
No storage is available after that date.

1 Artwork - 10.00 GBP
2 Artworks - 20.00 GBP
3 Artworks - 30.00 GBP
4 Artworks - 40.00 GBP
5 Artworks - 50.00 GBP
6 Artworks - 55.00 GBP
Entry fees are non-refundable
Is there a private view / opening?
There will be a Private View on Tuesday 26th & late opening on Friday 5th June, and other events tbc. If you would like to hold an event such as a workshop or talk during the show please contact the curator with your proposal.
What are the exhibition opening hours?
Tuesday - Friday 12:00 - 19:00, Saturday & Sunday 10:00 - 18:00. Closed Mondays
Does the location have disabled access?
Ground floor is accessible. Disabled toilets two doors away at the pub, The Albert, 11 Princess Road.
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
Mailing list, Instagram, press, posters and flyers.
Do I need to be present?
No
Where will my venue be listed?
We will endeavour to have listings in Art Rabbit, Hampstead & Highgate Express, Time Out, ON the Hill magazine, Camden New Journal etc.
How do you decide on proposals?
All works are judged on an equal basis, from the images supplied by the artist in the submission form. Judges decisions are final and we are unable to enter into further correspondence.
What happens if my proposal is chosen?
You'll be notified by 7th May.

All artworks submitted must be for sale.
