FILLER is a trend-focused food and mental health zine, each issue encouraging discourse around lifestyle and consumer behaviours. Issue 03: the EARTH issue is asking you for your work related to all things worldly, earthly, plant-based, green or otherwise, in response to the climate emergency.

C A L L  F O R  S U B M I S S I O N S :  the EARTH issue!!

Please send me all of your mental health woes re eco-anxiety, express your despair and anger, your recipes for earth-friendly or plant-based food, a review of the best plant m*lks, sustainable DIY, share your full moon rituals, write an ode to our planet, take pics of your houseplants, write an angry letter to your neighbour that never does their recycling, make a playlist for frolicking in nature, etc etc. 

Submissions open for any of the above and any other food for thought. Remember FILLER is based around food and MH discussion but submissions are broad!!

When is the deadline?
at the moment I have set the deadline for the end of October, as we all got things to do, but get your ideas sent over ASAP (our planet won't last forever)
How many works can I submit?
I know lots of us are ~multidisciplinary artists~ so I am accepting up to 2 projects per contributor - feel free to submit more than one piece of work if it shows you're passionate about the topic!
Are there payments to artists?
not as of yet :( I am a one-woman show designing and editing this zine on my own - BUT you will receive a copy of the zine as a thank you for being a part of it!
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
Successful contributors will be featured on FILLER's social media and will of course appear in the printed publication, as well as their details in a contributors list.
