CISTA ARTS invites artists worldwide to submit work for our October 2025 online exhibition:

Flux and Stillness: Art in the Midst of Transition

Submission Deadline: 19 October

Exhibition Dates: 1-29 November 2025

November is a season suspended between the fading vitality of autumn and the quiet of approaching winter—a threshold where movement slows yet transformation continues.

Flux and Stillness: Art in the Midst of Transition invites artists to reflect on this delicate tension between change and permanence, motion and pause, becoming and being.

This exhibition explores the philosophical dialogue between flux and stillness, recognising that each is bound within the other: stillness can hold the traces of motion, while flux often contains moments of calm.

In art, these states converge—whether in shifting natural cycles, transitional phases of memory and identity, or the turbulence of social and ecological change.

Through diverse practices, artists are invited to reveal how the interplay of flux and stillness shapes human experience.
