WE ARE and somewhereto_ are hosting a touring exhibition around the UK and we want you to be a part of it!

From somewhereto_, With Love is a touring art exhibition, winding its way across the UK this winter! As part of this, submissions of postcard-sized artworks are sought from emerging artists aged 16-25.

Postcards can be created using any media and each artwork will be shown in different somewhereto_ spaces throughout the UK.

Upon confirmation of your application being successful, you will be required to send a FULL RESOLUTION A6 .PDF FILE READY FOR PRINT, for us to print for you into the postcard. 
Please apply with one image: landscape & portrait are both accepted!

The deadline for submissions is the 16th October and the exhibtion will start its tour in November. The exhibition will take place in Wakefield on 27th-29th of November.

To give you a bit of context about somewhereto_ ; we're a national project, funded by the Big Lottery, which seeks to find free space and opportunities for young people aged 16 - 25. This could be somewhere to rehearse and/or perform, an empty shop unit for them take over, office space, exciting locations for film and photography, event space, exhibition space, artist studio space, somewhere to set up a film festival or a music gig, literally anything that we can help facilitate. somewhereto_ runs nationwide via our regional delivery teams who organise various events and support young people to carry out their creative projects.  For more info visit www.somewhereto.com

About WE ARE:

WE ARE Amy Lilley and Lucy Norton, two creatives based in Wakefield. WE ARE focused on encouraging and growing Wakefield’s creative scene. We do this by working alongside emerging creatives , curating pop-up happenings that engage people with the Arts and by promoting the creativity of those around us. As freelancers for somewhereto_ in Wakefield we're keen to work with as many 16-25 year olds as possible, giving them opportunities and spaces that otherwise aren't available.
