Plas Glyn-y-Weddw is delighted to launch the Open Summer Exhibition 2027, our annual mixed-media showcase celebrating creativity from across Wales and beyond.
The exhibition will continue to offer artists at all stages of their creative journey the opportunity to exhibit and sell work at one of Wales’ leading arts centres. To support this growth and ensure a vibrant and high-quality exhibition, all participating artists will now be selected through an open submission process.
About Us
Plas Glyn-y-Weddw is an arts centre managed by an independent charitable trust in North Wales. T
hrough our full programme of exhibitions and varied activities, we focus on art, heritage, culture and the natural environment, attracting over 100,000 visitors annually.
We expect 30,000 visitors to attend this exhibition, which will take place between the end of July and the beginning of October.
Our exhibition programme changes each season, providing opportunities for artists from Wales and beyond to exhibit and sell their work, and we host over 20 different exhibitions annually.
Our gallery staff team has extensive experience in organising and curating exhibitions, as well as managing open calls for artists to exhibit or take part in specific projects.

Selection Process
From 2027 onwards, all artists wishing to exhibit must submit their work through the online application process.

The works submitted must be available for the exhibition, as alternative works or substitutes for the original works will not be accepted. Artists should therefore ensure that submitted images accurately represent the artwork they intend to exhibit.
