The Contemporary Glass Society (CGS) is delighted to announce the launch of the 2026 Glass Sellers’ Graduate Prize and New Graduate Review. This prestigious competition is designed to support emerging graduates as they embark on their careers in contemporary glassmaking.

Thanks to the continued generosity of the Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers of London Charity Fund and our esteemed sponsors — Creative Glass, Pearsons Glass, Warm Glass, and Neues Glas – New Glass: Art & Architecture — we are offering an exceptional opportunity for new glass graduates to showcase their work on a global stage.

Why Enter?

Worldwide Exposure: Winning and commended works will be featured in the CGS New Graduate Review 2026, a 4-page addition to the Glass Network Magazine and in addition, there will be a full 16-page digital publication, sent out to universities, galleries, and museums and CGS Members.

This extended version of the review will also appear in the printed magazine Neues Glas – New Glass: Art & Architecture (Winter 2026 edition, distributed globally).

Prizes: Awards include a Winner, Second Prize, two Runners-up, and Commendations.

Career Support: The Graduate Review is an invaluable platform to launch a career in glass, with many past winners establishing themselves as respected professional glassmakers.

How to Enter

Graduates are invited to submit their best work via the Graduate Review 2026 digital form on CuratorSpace.

Eligibility

  • Graduates of European-accredited courses* in 2025.
  • Work must consist of at least 50% glass.
  • Degree or training must have been completed during the current or past academic year.
  • Applicants must be CGS Members (student membership available).


*European-accredited courses include institutions in the following countries:

Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, Ukraine, Vatican City.

Selection Criteria

  • Quality and concept of the work.
  • Innovations in glass working techniques
  • Use of glass (minimum 50%).
  • Graduation from an accredited European course in 2025.
  • A panel of expert judges will select the prize winners. Winning entries and commended works will be announced mid-to-late August 2026 and featured in the New Graduate Review (published November 2026).

What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
If selected, your work will be featured in the Glass Sellers’ CGS – New Graduate Review 2026, reaching a global audience of industry professionals and enthusiasts. CGS New Graduate Review: a 16-page publication, will be circulated extensively to all colleges, museums, and CGS members and will appear in Neues Glas - New Glass: Art & Architecture (circulated worldwide). The New Graduate Review and feature in the winter edition of Neues Glas- New Glass: Art & Architecture, will be distributed in November 2025.
What are the selection criteria?
• You must be graduating from an accredited course in 2026, from one of the countries listed in the elegibility FAQ.
• Work must consist of at least 50% glass.
• The work will be judged for quality and concept.
• A panel of experts will select the prize winners.
