We are currently seeking artwork for our Open Call: Fall 2026 / Winter 2027 Media Wall Rotation, until October 9. Pieces that are selected will be on display as part of a 24-hour looping exhibition at the University of Mary Washington. All submissions are welcome, no fee required

The HCC Media Wall is a large projected screen at a highly-populated study area at the University of Mary Washington.

The screen displays ambient, esoteric or abstract works of video art.

The work will be displayed on rotation 24/7 for the remainder of this semester and the beginning of the Spring semester.

Terms & Conditions.

This application is open to all artists seeking to have their work displayed on the UMW Media Wall.

All accepted works will be paired with other accepted submissions to form a rotation.

This digital exhibition will be on display 24-hours in UMW's Hurley Convergence Center.

This exhibition space receives frequent foot traffic from students, staff, and visitors.

To be considered for an exhibition, content must be understandable without sound, absent of exceedingly mature themes, and suitable for photosensitive viewers.

Keep in mind that the Media Wall has a 1200x1920 vertical resolution.

Submissions that are not in the correct resolution may be cropped to match the resolution of the screen, or may be rejected entirely.

For initial screening, all submissions must be accessible through a streamable platform (Vimeo, YouTube, Dropbox, etc).

If your submission is accepted, we will notify you and request a file of your piece.

Accepted submissions will be posted on the Media Wall's website and affiliated Instagram page with proper credit given to the artist.

You will retain copyright of your work.
