An open call for artists working with textiles - either directly, or by incorporating textiles into their wider practice - whether that be through stitching, weaving, quilting, tapestry, knitting, crochet or something different. Focusing on the materiality of these works, and the fascinating ways that these artists manipulate their materials, this show will explore the ways that textiles artists push boundaries in pursuit of a unique vision.

Will this opportunity suit you?

This is an open call for textile artists, who can each submit up to four works for consideration.

We are looking for both 2D and 3D textile works, or mixed media works which significantly incorporate textiles. There are no size limits.

For wall based works, please note that these must be able to be hung on nails or command strips; mirror plates are not accepted.

There are limited spaces where works can be suspended from the ceiling at the venue - if this is how you would like to display your piece(s), please be clear on which types of hanging apparatus should be used.

If plinths, shelving or other apparatus e.g. mannequins are needed to display 3D works, please note these will need to be supplied by the artist. Please make a note of your preferred method of display in your submission.

Selected artists will be invited to demonstrate their practice in the gallery if they would like to.
