A group exhibition open to all artists based in the UK.

Established in 2015, this is the 10th Leeds Summer Group Show. We're very excited to return to Leeds Playhouse where the exhibition will be open to the public from 5 July - 30 August and will also be online via www.courtspencer.com

The 2024 Leeds Summer Group Show will be an eclectic exhibition celebrating talent from across the UK. There is no theme though we are looking for pre-existing, wall-based work that can be hung on the hanging system in the venue (please see the FAQs for further details).

Please note when submitting images these will need to be as jpegs and ready to be uploaded onto the website that will accompany the exhibition. Please photograph works against a plain wall where possible.

We encourage you to price your work. A 50% commission will be taken on all sales so please account for that when pricing your works. Prices will be listed on the website with buyers responsible for paying postage and packaging. We will oversee invoicing, payments, packaging and postage. Artists will be asked to invoice us at the end of the show for any works sold.

By submitting works you are agreeing, if selected, to allow us to use images of your work on the website and for promotional material related to this exhibition.

There is a submission fee of £12 which allows you to make up to 5 submissions of individual works (diptychs, triptychs etc can be considered one piece, though must be captured in one image and priced as one piece). This fee is to contribute towards admin and associated costs with putting on the exhibition. If the fee is a barrier that will stop you from submitting please message us.

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday 12 June at midnight (BST). Please read the FAQ section carefully for the information you’ll need to know to submit work. Please also refer to the examples given in the submission form and follow the examples and formatting.

Artists will be notified via CuratorSpace if the selection panel has chosen their work by 15 June and works will need to be delivered to Leeds Playhouse on Sat 29 June between 10am and 4pm.  All communications with artists about this exhibition will be via CuratorSpace so please ensure you check your account regularly or set up email alerts for when you receive messages via CuratorSpace.

This exhibition is curated by Courtney Spencer in association with Leeds Playhouse.
