The Leeds United Supporters' Trust would like to commission a painted mural on the north-facing concrete wall of the underpass underneath the M621 motorway on Lowfields Road. The wall is corrugated concrete but in sound structural condition. All work should be able to be completed from ground level.

The mural needs to reflect the colours of Leeds United (yellow, white and blue) with perhaps a slight variation on the blue colour only.

The mural can include images or slogans or a combination of both.

We would like the mural to become an enduring landmark feature of the ground and contribute to the fans experience and support. The location is very prominent and is visible to many thousands of fans as they approach Elland Road on match days.

Leeds United is approaching its 100 year centenary in 2019, so we would like this mural to complement that and therefore should embrace the history of the club and its supporters. There are many images and slogans that are synonymous with Leeds United's history from 1919 to today, the mural could include some of these, but should represent the proud, independent and almost unforgiven spirit of Leeds United as a unique football club that stands on its own, and it should also proudly represent the Supporters' Trust as a body that fights for fans' rights and gives them a voice.

We would like the project to be completed in time for the first home game of the 2017/18 season, which is on Saturday August 12th 2017.

We are working with the arts organisation East Street Arts to manage the project and aiming for a budget of £3,500 to cover materials and fee.

The dimensions of the wall are:

Height - 2.7m

Short length (bottom) - 11m

Long length (top) - 13.2m

NB - the gallery image of Don Revie and Billy Bremner mural is for example reference only
