Looking for life models for regular monthly in-person sessions in Durham, North East England. 2nd Saturday of the month. 1:30 pm-3 pm with a break. £45 fee. Very friendly class of 10-20 people per month, with a range of artistic abilities.

Also looking for life models for one-off sessions in Hartlepool. Same fee of £45 per session.

Life models must be willing to pose based on existing artwork provided in sessions. On a Wednesday 7-8:30 pm

Requirements:

  • Life modelling experience (at least two sessions)
  • Ability to hold poses for between 2 and 30 mins (can be flexible for access purposes)
  • A commitment to inclusive artistic practices
  • Willingness to provide a short biography and some images of you/drawings of you for promotional purposes
     

We specifically welcoming applicants who are Disabled, from the Global Majority, fat, trans, and/or queer.

We welcome those with body piercings, tattoos, and non-conventional body types.

Anyone who models with props is welcome to apply too.

Who is eligible for this opportunity?
Anyone with life modelling experience (more than two sessions) can apply. If you have had less experience than this, please don't let that put you off! We'd love to read your application even if you've had less experience.
When is the deadline?
Provisionally 26th October, but the deadline may be extended as required.
How much does it cost?
No fee to apply.
Is there payment for life models?
Yes. Each life model will be paid £45 per session.
Does the location have disabled access?
Yes. Both venues have wheelchair access.
What are the selection criteria?
