Light & Shadow Photography Exhibition
Deadline: 15/02/2026Solas Shadow
For the gallery's inaugural exhibition, we have taken influence from our gallery's name and have chosen the theme, Light and Shadow.
Solas / Shadow is an online international photography gallery dedicated to showcasing the work of photographers from around the world through engaging, thoughtfully curated exhibitions.
Founded on the belief that powerful photography exists beyond traditional gatekeeping, and with over 10 years experience in both photography and exhibition curation, Solas / Shadow aims to create space for voices that have not always had the opportunity to exhibit their work.
We are particularly committed to supporting emerging and underrepresented photographers, while remaining open to artists at all stages of their practice.
Our exhibitions explore both visual and conceptual themes, encouraging dialogue between light and darkness, presence and absence, the seen and the unseen.
Through this balance, Solas / Shadow seeks to highlight photography’s ability to tell stories, evoke emotion, and challenge perception across cultures and experiences.
As we grow, we look forward to expanding our platform and offering more opportunities for photographers. Solas / Shadow is not just a gallery, but a growing community built on collaboration, inclusion, and a shared passion for photography.
Light and shadow shape how we see and interpret the world.
From natural light to artificial illumination, this exhibition seeks photographic works that engage with the expressive, symbolic, or conceptual possibilities of light and darkness
