London gallery is holding a Christmas Exhibition December 4th-18th December 2025: 'Parks Pictured'. Paintings, drawings & original prints of parks, particularly Primrose Hill, Regent's Park and Hampstead Heath which are closest to the gallery.

Our patrons love to see the parks in paint, so let's tempt them with your take on the landscapes, flora and fauna of these much loved green spaces.  

We would like the works in this show to be priced under £5,000 as a maximum, if exceptional,  but otherwise under £2,500.

We can't wait to see your work and to introduce it to our customers.  

We will promote the show in Primrose Hill,,  in social media and press.

Terms & Conditions – Open Call Exhibition at Regent’s Park Gallery, December 2025

1. Eligibility

  • Open to artists aged 18 or over, currently residing in the United Kingdom.
  • Each artist may submit up to six works.
  • All works must be original paintings, drawings, or original art prints created by the submitting artist.


2. Size and Presentation

  • Maximum framed size: A1 (594 Å~ 841 mm). Most selected works are expected to be A4 or smaller.
  • All works must be framed in a plain white frame (Ikea Rodalm is acceptable).
  • Frames must have secure hanging fittings:
  • Ikea Rodalm frames with rear hanging clips are acceptable.
  • Other frames must have D-rings, positioned one inch from the top, not visible from the front.
  • Works not meeting these presentation requirements may be refused, even if previously accepted.
  • If a frame exceeds the stated dimensions, the Gallery reserves the right to de-select the work.


3. Entry Fees

3.1 Entry fees are non-refundable and payable per artwork:

£6 per artwork entry

3.2 Fees must be paid in full at the time of submission. Unpaid entries will not be considered.

4. Sales and Commission

  • All submitted works must be for sale.
  • The Gallery will retain a 45% commission on all sales (calculated from the total received via the Gallery’s SumUp card machine).

Prices stated on the submission form are final and cannot be changed after submission, except by written agreement with the Gallery for:

  • a discount of up to 10%, or
  • a multiple purchase discount.
  • Artists will receive payment for sold works within 30 days of the exhibition’s closing date.


The Gallery will endeavour to pay sooner, once the buyer has received the work in the condition it was exhibited.

Artists are responsible for collecting and delivering both sold and unsold works on the collection dates. If a buyer does not collect their purchase, the artist must arrange delivery to the buyer.

5. Submission and Selection

  • All entries must be submitted via the official online form.
  • If a delivered artwork differs significantly from the submitted image, the Gallery reserves the right to refuse it. The artist must collect any refused work before the exhibition opens.
  • At least one submitted image must show the work in full, without background, and be suitable for publication.  * File size: 1MB minimum. - 4 MB maximum per image.


6. Delivery of Works

Works must be delivered to Regent’s Park Gallery on:

  • Monday 1 December: 12:00 – 18:00
  • Tuesday 2 December: 09:00 – 18:00


Late or damaged deliveries will not be accepted.

Artists are responsible for all transport, packaging, and insurance costs during transit and while the work is at the gallery.

For courier deliveries, all customs duties and import charges must be prepaid by the artist.

7. Collection of Works

  • Works must be collected on Friday, 19 or Saturday, 20 December 2025 (09:00–17:00).
  • Artists must give 48 hours’ notice for courier collections.
  • Works or belongings not collected by 17:00 on 20 December will be disposed of. The Gallery cannot provide storage.
  • Artists are responsible for arranging the delivery of sold works if not collected by buyers.


8. Insurance and Liability

While every reasonable precaution will be taken, Regent’s Park Gallery accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to artworks, however caused, during transport, handling, storage, or exhibition.

Artists are strongly advised to arrange their own insurance for all stages of participation.

Artists and their guests agree to respect the gallery space, staff, fellow exhibitors and visitors.

9. Copyright and Promotion

Artists retain full copyright of their work.

By submitting images, artists grant Regent’s Park Gallery a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce images of their work for promotional and marketing purposes (including online, print, and press) in the UK and internationally.

The Gallery will make every effort to credit the artist whenever possible, but cannot guarantee credits by third parties (e.g. press).

10. Data Protection

Personal data provided by artists will be used solely for the administration of the Open Call and exhibition.

Information will not be shared with third parties except as required for exhibition administration or sales.

11. Withdrawal and Disqualification

Artists may withdraw their submission before the submission deadline by notifying Regent’s Park Gallery in writing.

The Gallery reserves the right to disqualify or remove works that breach these terms, even after selection.

Selected works may not be removed by the artist or buyer before the exhibition closes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

About the Curator:

Curated by Sophie Levi, a professional landscape and portrait painter, who exhibits widely and has been shortlisted for the BP Portrait Award, Threadneedle Art Prize, amongst others and Jo Trench, artist & printmaker.  

We opened in April 2025 in the former restaurant premises in Primrose Hill.  

We have held several successful shows, mostly of landscape and still life paintings, which sold well. 

Our customers will be delighted to see paintings of their much-loved parks in time to solve their festive gifting dilemmas!

We are a friendly, happy, creative space valued by artists and the local community alike.  We’re all about connecting people and passions.

Our social media following and mailing list are growing rapidly. @regentsparkgallery 
Right now, we have over 600 followers.

After submitting your first artwork, you will then be directed to make a payment. Select the amount for the number of submissions you would like to make.

If this is more than one, you will then be able to make further submissions by submitting additional forms up to the number of artworks you have paid for.

The appropriate fee will be payable using a debit or credit card after the first submission has been completed. If the submission fee allows you to submit more than once, you will be able to make further submissions after the first. Selected and hung artworks if sold the Artist will receive 55% of the sale price minus Sum Up card machine charges. The gallery will retain 45% commission

Private View will be on Thursday, 4th December, 17:00 - 20:00.
What are the exhibition opening hours?
Exhibition will be open Monday and Tuesdays by appointment, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 12:00 midday - 18:00, Saturdays and Sundays 10:00 - 17:00 These are guide hours and may change
Does the location have disabled access?
The ground floor gallery is accessible from Princess Road, there is an accessible toilet in the Albert Pub a couple of doors away at 11 Princess Rd.
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
Gallery website, social media and mailing list, physical flyers will be distributed and displayed locally, press releases.
Do I need to be present?
Drop off and collection by artist, or their nominated person or courier.
How do you decide on proposals?
All admissible entries will be equally considered
