NOTHING IS MADE ONCE... brings together artists working across analogue, digital and hybrid practices to explore how things are made, remade and transformed. Open to all mediums and disciplines, the exhibition considers how materials, ideas and technologies intersect, inform and reshape one another.

On making, repetition and reinvention

Nothing we make begins entirely anew. Every act of making carries traces of what came before: a gesture, technique, image or process reimagined.

Reflecting on a world of constant technological change and circulating images, it asks what we inherit, what we transform and what new possibilities emerge when we begin again.

We welcome submissions across all disciplines and forms of creative practice, including but not limited to:

  • Object and product design
  • Sculpture and three-dimensional practices
  • Painting and drawing
  • Installation and site-specific work
  • Moving image, film and video
  • Sound art and sound design
  • Textiles, fashion and wearable art
  • Ceramics and glass
  • Photography and lens-based practices
  • Printmaking and graphic arts
  • Fine art and mixed-media practices
  • Performance and live art
  • Digital art and interactive media
  • Animation and experimental media
  • Furniture and lighting design
  • Architecture and spatial practices
  • Writing, poetry and text-based work

About us:

Bringing together backgrounds in sculpture, stage design, audiovisual practice, and narrative environments, their work explores how material, sound, and atmosphere shape bodily perception and spatial experience.

We have actively work in the exhibition sector between art universities providing curatorial and exhibition support for student exhibitions in London along with museums and galleries across the UK and Europe.

This is our 10th open call, building upon the success of Soft ground in December 2025, Loose ends in January, Known terrain as part of the London Design Festival in September and many more.
