Presenting 'Old Red TV': A collaborative anti-capitalist / surrealist TV station spotlighting up and coming video artists of all genres.

The Old Red Bus Station is a vegan venue, art gallery and exhibition space in Leeds UK. We have a focus on inclusivity, freedom and underground dance culture - we are very much a DIY grassroots organisation.

Alongside our traditional art exhibitions we want to install TVs around the building and use them to showcase upcoming artists' work as if it was a real TV station. The work will all be tagged with your chosen social handles the whole time it is shown, and each video will be interspersed by odd old 80's/90's adverts etc with a ironic / anti-corporate theme. Think bad USA cable TV but with your videos instead of the TV Programs.

The opportunity is not paid, however it is a great opportunity to have your work looping with your name in a location with a fair amount of footfall.

Our motivation for doing this is to expand our artistic outreach into the motion area, and we would love to see your stuff!

Any style from abstract motion graphics to dance videos will be accepted, the weirder the better!

How to Submit

Upload your file to any video site and send us the link.

If your work is selected we will contact you to let you know. All artists will be able to see the TV loop before we play it in the venue.
