Bridgwater Arts Centre is seeking applications from talented designer-makers across the South West to take part in our Christmas Contemporary Craft & Design Exhibition.

Open Call: Festive Contemporary Craft & Design Exhibition

We are looking for high-quality handmade work that showcases creativity, craftsmanship, and contemporary design.

Selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work during the festive season.

All Artwork will be for sale and prices will need to include 30 % Gallery Commission.

Selection Process

  • Applications will be reviewed by the Arts Centre team, and successful applicants will be notified by 16 October 2026.

  • Artwork will need to be available for the duration of the exhibition.

  • Artwork delivery will take place on the 23rd November. 9 am - 12 pm

  • An opening is planned for the 28th November, 11 am -3 pm.

  • Collection of unsold artwork will take place on the 19th December, 12- 3 pm

  • Exhibiting Artists will be informed of all sales on 19th December, and payment will be made within 30 days of the end of the exhibition.

How do you decide on proposals?
Applications will be reviewed by the Arts Centre team, and successful applicants will be notified by 16 October 2026.
What happens if my proposal is chosen?
You will be notified by the 16th of October, you will exhibit and sell work at Showcase, a festive selling exhibition.
