Fox Yard Studio is thrilled to announce its upcoming exhibition "GESTURAL: COLOUR & FORM." We look forward to receiving your submissions and curating a diverse and captivating exhibition that celebrates the connection between visual art and colour & form in a literal or metaphorical sense. This art exhibition will invite our visitors to explore the diverse perspectives and layers of meaning beyond the surfaces of the selected works. We are looking for artworks of any kind, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, video, textile, digital work and live performance. The exhibition will run from July 30th - August 7th, with an opening reception on Tuesday the 30th of July, from 6-8pm.

Timeline:

Application submission deadline: Midnight 21th of July 2024

Exhibition dates: 30 July - 7 Aug 2024

Private View: Tuesday 30th July, 6 pm to 8 pm

Announcement: By July 22nd 2024, notification by email

Works drop-in: Friday, July 26th July

Collection Date:  Thursday Aug 8th

Please make sure that you have read through the submission's guidelines and rules properly before submitting your work.

Wall work must not exceed 60cm x 80cm (to include any mount/frame). 

3D work should have a maximum footprint of 60cm x 60cm x 100cm.

Images

• You can submit up to 10 images, max 4MB each, for consideration.
• You can also send us links to your videos and performances.

Acceptance into the exhibition:

• Successful applicants will be notified by email.
• Artists are responsible for delivering or shipping their works to us by using reliable couriers to ensure timely delivery. 
• Digital and videos will be displayed digitally on a 46" monitor in our art gallery at Fox Yard Studio. Files of selected works can be sent to us by email or by WeTransfer.

Costs:

• £35 per selected work.
• As well as having a physical presence, artworks will be featured online.

Who:

Artists at all levels. All media types are welcome, whether your craft is painting, photography, sculpture, poetry, live performances, films or any form you can think of!

Applicants are not required to be local.  All works are to be presentable, framed (if applicable) and delivered under the responsibility of each selected artist by the given deadlines.

• The theme is open to interpretation.
• We offer you a platform to showcase, promote and sell your artworks via our art gallery and our Instagram via Art Magnitude.
• Submitting your work is free of charge,
• There is a 25% commission on Sales for physical works.
• If artists are not able to collect unsold works after the show has ended, we can return your works to you by courier or post.
