WHIP Mag is looking for unfinished work from early - career artists .

WHIP promotes the slow and hazy process of making; the dull sparkly bits before the shiny finished piece. Each double page spread is free to download and the magazine is printable on whatever media you like, wherever you are. We are all putting something off — dust off your hard drives and send me your napkin scribbles.

What are you listening to lately? 

Get as rough and conceptual as you like.

Anybody making concept-based work!
When is the deadline?
As long as Curatorspace is giving me a free account. Otherwise, rolling.
How many works can I submit?
Let's say 5 images per series. For writing, keep it somewhat condensed.
When is the delivery date?
How fast is an email?
When do I need to collect my work?
Whenever you want to print it.
How much does it cost?

Are there payments to artists?
As much as I would love to...
Is there a private view / opening?
I would like to put on some printing parties around Liverpool.
What are the exhibition opening hours?
ALL THE TIME
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
Instagram and the magazine itself, more if it gets picked up by others who promote artists.
Do I need to be present?
If you're local and fancy a coffee, sure?
How do you decide on proposals?
Whether the two artists on a double page spread go together.
What happens if my proposal is chosen?
I'll email you and probably ask for higher res images / if you're ok with me overlaying elements in the design.
What kind of proposals are you looking for?
Unfinished conceptual work.
What are the selection criteria?
Anish Kapoor can't submit.
