Open call for written submissions to Issue 10 of Haus-a-rest Zine and Social media: The Activism Issue.

We are really looking forward to this issue as we tackle how ART has effected change! Art has long been used to voice opinions, act as a temperature gauge to the zeitgeist and as a method to rally and agitate. In these uncertain times it has never played such a vital role. How has the artist's work tuned into the current angst, and has it got hearts pumping and discussions going?  What do you consider good examples and where has work failed to influence?

What are your thoughts, opinions, musings, and ideas to challenge us? What is your interpretation?  Do you have suggestions for further reading, philosophy, artists that tackle this or exhibitions that touch on this subject? How can artists further the debate?

You will need to submit:

1) 500  - 1000 words.

2)  A short bio.

3) Your Instagram name so we can tag you.

4) Do you wish to join our mailing list Y/N?

5) An optional photo of yourself or an appropriate image that relates to the subject.

Your work will not be accepted if you do not provide all of the required items.

If accepted your work will be featured in the Zine, Instagram, and FB for a least one month.
