Open Call: International Photography Exhibition- Seeing Red
Deadline: 30/05/2026City: Kamnik | Country: Slovenia | 13 b
Call for entries! 13b is looking for photography submissions for their international exhibition ‘Seeing Red’. This is a great opportunity to expand your network and get greater exposure by exhibiting your work in front of an international audience.
13b is running a 4-week long exhibition called 'Seeing Red'. This is the second in our ongoing series of exhibitions with the theme of primary colours.
After black and white, RED is the first colour that humans perceive. It’s the colour babies see before any other and the first that those suffering from a brain injury start seeing again.
One of the boldest colours in the spectrum, red stands out in artwork and grabs our attention more than any other colour can.
Red is a very symbolic colour whether seen as the colour of passion or of danger it can be used to represent a range of emotions and we’d love to see a variety of images that explore the colour red.
This theme is quite open and all genres of photography are welcome, all that is required is the colour RED.
Our exhibition will also coincide with a variety of cultural events in Kamnik such as ‘The May Flower Exhibition’ at Volčji Potok Arboretum, ‘Križnik's Fairytale Festival’ (storytelling festival) and ‘Museum Summer Night’ at the Intermunicipal Museum Kamnik.
