Open call for LGBTQIA+ artists based in the North to exhibit work in a fabulous converted building in Scarborough.

The Old Parcel Office is an exciting art space in Scarborough, North Yorkshire which is building its program and audience. In conjunction with Scarborough's Pride season they will be hosting an exhibition of LGBTQIA+ artists who are based in the North. The exhibition will run from September 23rd to October 8th.

Who is eligible for this opportunity?
Any artists who identify within the LGBTQIA+ umbrella and have a tangible connection to the North of England.
How many works can I submit?
Up to 5.
How much does it cost?
There is no participation fee.
Are there payments to artists?
We do not have the budget to provide an artists fee.
Does the location have disabled access?
The space does have level access.
Do I need to be present?
No, we would love to see you there but we understand that not everybody will be able to attend in person.
How do you decide on proposals?
We will make selections based on which work we find exciting.
What happens if my proposal is chosen?
We will contact you to discuss having your work featured in the exhibition.
What kind of proposals are you looking for?
We are seeking vibrant and dynamic work that will look at home in an exciting and varied exhibition.
What are the selection criteria?
We are asking for submissions from LGBTQIA+ artists who have a tangible connection to the North.
