Spira9art invites submissions for re:art, our interdisciplinary arts and culture quarterly. We are currently accepting work for Issue 2, titled The World Beneath Their Feet — an exploration of the unseen, the unheard, and the deeply buried.

About the Theme

The World Beneath Their Feet investigates the spaces and stories overlooked by dominant culture — from marginal geographies to forgotten histories and inner psychological terrains. This issue is structured around three interconnected chapters:

• Origin – beginnings, roots, buried pasts

• Intervention – moments of disruption, emergence, resistance

• Reconstruction – rebuilding, reimagining, layering new worlds from old

We invite you to explore the metaphoric and material spaces beneath our feet — both literal and symbolic — and to share work that resonates with the question:

"What do we really see when we look down at our feet?"
And,
"Can entering their world help us understand ourselves anew?"

We’re Seeking Work In:

• Visual arts | Installation | Moving image | Intermedia

• Performance | Body-based practices | Dance

• Writing | Narrative | Criticism | Experimental forms

• Sound design | Spatial interventions | Digital and cross-media experiments
