'Scion’ 27 November 2021 - 8 January 2022. Open Call for submissions for our Christmas exhibition in our 30th anniversary year. We may not get any snow, but we do need lots of lovely artworks!

As ever we are seeking a variety of works across all media responding to the title 'Scion'.  We are particularly looking for work around ideas of new growth, protection and descendents but a broad interpretation is encouraged.

MEANING

Scion - A detached shoot or twig containing buds from a woody plant.

Or

Guardian

Or

A descendant, especially a first-generation descendant

Selected work will need to be delivered to Cupola no later than Wednesday 17 November, although we can certainly accept work earlier. Feel free to submit single items, groups or collections of work.

All works should be for sale and the gallery takes commission on works sold. There is no fee for submitting works for consideration.

To work out the overall price of your work, please use the following formula:

Your wholesale price x 2.2 = retail including the VAT we have to charge. ie. £100 x 2.2 = £220.  £100 to artist, £100 to gallery £20 to HMRC.
